  • Unity or diversity in practice?
  • Inter-disciplinarity and trans-disciplinarity

Theme 2: From prevention to promotion

  • Community practice to promote health and mental health
  • Community initiatives and prevention programs
  • Obstruction and facilitation of community action
  • Intervening in institutions: educational, commercial, state etc.

Theme 3: Community psychology and citizenship

  • Globalisation and community
  • Community health and social justice
  • Collective citizenship
  • Reduction of social and health inequalities

Special Interest Themes:

  • Ageing and demographic change
  • Chronic illness (cancer, HIV, dementia etc.)
  • Migration
  • Imprisonment
  • Rethinking disability
